We pride ourselves on our nutritional approach to food. All our meals are freshly cooked daily in our own kitchen by our resident chef who provides a wide variety of nutritious, healthy snacks and meals to suit all dietary and cultural requirements.
We aim to provide nutritionally balanced meals with plenty of vegetables and fibre, paying heed to recommended Government guidelines to avoid too much sugar, salt and fats (please see “Eatwell Guide” below).
We also aim to support children’s dental health by working with you to encourage cup feeding and we offer milk and water only at snack and lunch times. Fresh drinking water is available to all children throughout the day.
Our menus are on a four week rota and are displayed on our parent’s notice board. Information about food allergens / food allergies are shared with all staff / parents and displayed in the kitchen.
To ensure that babies formula milk is the same as they have at home, we ask that formula be brought in, to be made up freshly as needed.
